KV BARS Rescue and Medical Professions
Negotiations on the BARS collective agreement will start on 1 December. It will come into force on 1 January 2026 and will apply to around 750 employees.

In addition to a wage and salary increase above rolling inflation, the negotiating unions vida and GPA are demanding an additional week of vacation and paid breaks for employees in all federal states.
In addition, there are to be improvements in the framework law. For example, a flex surcharge if the duty roster is not adhered to at short notice, a night duty surcharge of 10 euros per hour or 70 euros flat rate and a Sunday and holiday allowance of 8 euros per hour. In the individual federal states, further demands are being added.
The employers have not yet presented their demands.
