After the conclusion of the collective agreement in 2024, the functionaries of the vida railway department have begun to work on improvements in the collective bargaining framework law. The basis for this was the KV survey in spring 2024 among all railway union members.
Future-proof collective bargaining designed
In several rounds with the railway companies and the social partner the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ), it was discussed in spring 2025 what options there are to design a future-proof collective agreement. More information can be found for you right here in the video:
We continue to work
The proposals of the working groups will now be received by the vida-KV negotiating team. The collective bargaining negotiations will start in autumn 2025. To achieve good results, we continue to rely on your strong support.
