Civil courage is the superhero among the qualities: You see injustice, think and intervene with your head held high and full of determination - without a cape, but with a lot of courage. Civil courage means not looking away when someone is in trouble. It's the moment when you don't bury your head in the sand, but you do what you can to help. Of course, without endangering yourself.
At the event, we, AK Vienna, ÖGB and the trade unions vida, GPA and GÖD together with the WEISSER RING, want to create more awareness of the topics of violence prevention and dealing with violence, but also offer concrete information, best practice and services. Of course, we hope that you will never be confronted with violence! However, it makes sense to be prepared just in case!
