3% more income & care bonus secured
From 1 January 2026, wages and salaries will increase by 3 percent, and the care bonus will also continue to be paid. Especially in times of high stress, this is an important signal to all those who keep the health system running.
Working hours and relief: Lunch break remains paid
The paid lunch break will continue – a key contribution to the health and recovery of employees.
More stability in the roster
With a stand-in allowance for duty roster stability, spontaneous substitution is better cushioned. At the same time, the works council will be more closely involved when it comes to measures to protect against violence in the workplace.
Age-appropriate working & part-time law
A legal entitlement to part-time work is also new if a partial pension is claimed. In addition, the right to age-appropriate work has been anchored in order to keep people healthy at work for longer.
Improvements for doctors
For doctors, the agreement brings an additional benefit: they receive +2 hours of Saturday allowance to compensate for weekend shifts.
