Pest control collective agreement: +3.6 percent more salary and focus on career paths

The parties to the collective agreement have reached a new collective agreement for workers and industrial apprentices in pest control . The core of the agreement is a wage increase of 3.6 percent for all wage groups. In addition, a joint framework KV working group was agreed to deal with career paths and apprenticeship training .
Wages rise in all wage groups
With the agreement, all minimum wages and apprentice incomes will be valorised. Specifically, the following amounts now apply:
- Wage group 1 (workers in pest control):
€ 12.54 per hour - Wage group 2 (skilled workers with an apprenticeship qualification):
€ 15.15 per hour - Apprentice income (monthly)
1st year of apprenticeship € 974
2nd year of apprenticeship € 1,218
3rd year of apprenticeship € 1,497 - Separation allowance:
€ 20.35 per day
After successfully passing the final apprenticeship examination, the employee is still reclassified to wage group 2, including possible additional payment of the wage difference – an important signal for qualification and skilled work.
Focus on career paths and training
In addition to the wage adjustment, the social partners have decided on a framework collective bargaining working group . The aim is to develop clear career prospects and to strengthen apprenticeship training in pest control in the long term. A result of the working group is planned by the end of 2027 .
Important step for fair incomes
The agreement ensures noticeable income improvements and at the same time focuses on long-term structural work in a physically demanding and socially important industry. Fair pay, qualified training and real development opportunities thus remain central trade union concerns.
