Collective agreement for home care and home care

The trade union vida reached minimum wage agreements for around 3,000 employees.

The 18,000 employees in the private security sector will receive wage increases of 3.08 percent weighted.

Only if incomes rise can purchasing power and thus consumption be strengthened. Especially in the low-wage sector, real wage increases are needed so that people can continue to afford daily life.

Unfair wages, excessively long working hours and precarious conditions: The security industry urgently needs improvements. Trade union vida and AK Vienna demand more protection for employees.

Works councils from the security sector discussed the priorities for 2025 at a conference initiated by the trade union vida. The most important fixed point of the year: the collective agreement negotiations in autumn.

During the Corona period, security personnel took care of the protection of critical infrastructure such as hospitals or Covid test lanes.
