This day of action focuses on the emergency medical number for medical emergencies, the rescue services and the work of the control centres. It is intended to raise awareness of the life-saving number and show how help can be requested quickly in an emergency.

Clear task profiles, realistic expectations among the population and legal protection for paramedics in their responsible work. - Better working conditions and real relief in the rescue service
More staff, plannable working hours, sufficient breaks and effective measures against overload and burnout. - Consistent protection against attacks and more safety in the field
Zero-tolerance policy in the event of violence, preventive measures, legal protection, aftercare after incidents and clear deployment concepts for risk situations. - Quality instead of cheap solutions in patient transport
Use of qualified personnel, fair pay, binding quality standards and an end to wage dumping in the rescue and ambulance sector.
