Workers' works council elected at Amazon in Austria for the first time
The new works council is responsible for almost 700 employees at the locations in Vienna, Lower Austria, Styria and Carinthia.

For the first time, an Austria-wide workers' works council was elected at Amazon. The nine-member works council team is responsible for almost 700 workers at Amazon's logistics locations in Vienna, Lower Austria, Carinthia and Styria. The headquarters of the new workers' works council is in the Amazon logistics center in Großebersdorf in Lower Austria, the trade union vida announces.
Horst Pammer, Chairman of vida Lower Austria, congratulates the elected Chairman of the Works Council Jorge Plaut and his team on his election on behalf of the entire trade union vida and wishes him all the best for his future work on the Works Council.
