Welche Angaben muss ich bis wann machen?

The reporting obligation applies to you as the payee. However, it also affects you if you have applied for retirement and changes occur. Reportable information includes, for example:

Within 7 days:

  • taking up employment and the amount of income earned
  • any change in income level
  • in the case of a child allowance beyond the age of 18, the respective earned income of the child
  • in the case of receipt of a compensatory supplement: any change in the earned income of the spouse, the children taken into account in the reference rate and the parents living in the same household

Within 14 days:

  • any change in the circumstances governing the entitlement to subscription and any change of residence and name

ATTENTION: If payments have been made in the case of an unreported change that are not justified, these must generally be refunded.

The obligation to report depends on the insurance company being instructed. However, there is hardly any "excuse" that one did not know about it, because each applicant must confirm the instructions given with his or her signature on the pension application form.
