Educational leave and part-time education with receipt of further education/part-time education allowance have been abolished and expired on 31.03.2025.
Although they can still be agreed with the employer in the future, there is no longer any financial support from the AMS.
There are still transitional regulations for continuing education/part-time education allowance that was awarded before 31.03.2025.
The government has announced that it will develop a successor model by the end of 2025, which will then come into force from 01.01.2026.
