As a member of the trade union, you benefit from the professional legal protection of the ÖGB. This protects you if legal conflicts arise in connection with your professional activities – and ensures that you can enforce your claims without having to take any financial risk.

Your protection against legal problems at work

Professional legal protection insurance offers insurance cover of up to 20,000 euros if you assert claims for damages due to damage you have suffered in the course of your professional activity.

In addition, the protection also includes the defense in criminal proceedings if you are accused of negligent acts or omissions at work.

In proceedings for intentional offences, insurance cover exists if the proceedings are discontinued or an acquittal is achieved.

Professional indemnity insurance

Protection of up to 100,000 euros if you are sued for damages by a third person in connection with your professional activity due to negligently caused personal injury or property damage. The insurance also covers the costs of defending against unjustified claims.

Help with bullying, discrimination or violence in the workplace

The insurance covers up to 350 euros annually for legal advice and up to 350 euros for psychological support if you are affected by bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination or physical violence in the workplace.
