70 years of loyalty and not a bit quiet

As part of the membership ceremony of the vida region of Eastern Styria , six members of the vida local group in Friedberg were also honoured for their loyalty .

We say THANK YOU and congratulate warmly:

• 40 years: Johannes Schröck
• 50 years: Günter Haasl, Johannes Luef and Walter Scherf
• 70 years: Hermann Karner (Honorary Chairman OG Friedberg) and Johann Peinthor

Signs of recognition

On 20 March 2026, many high-ranking representatives from politics, trade unions and the Chamber of Labour gathered at the Gasthof Kirchenwirt as well-wishers and as a sign of recognition: Mag. Dr. Wolfgang Dolesch, Member of the Styrian State Parliament, Josef Gradwohl, Deputy Chairman of the Styrian State Parliament.  Federal Chairman of vida Pensioners, Gernot Acko, AK Vice-President and vida Regional Chairman Styria, and Walter Haas, Regional Chairman of vida Pensioners Styria. They all gave solemn eulogies to the jubilarians . Of course, all participants present were very happy to be able to celebrate such agile members in our ranks.

Time for cozy get-togethers

The membership ceremony is not only intended to be an expression of thanks, but also to offer the opportunity to meet and chat in a cozy and trade union atmosphere . As chairman of the vida local group in Friedberg , I would like to thank you very much and am happy with the well-wishers. I wish them all the best as well as a lot of joy and fun on our further journey together.
