Many decisions are no longer made in Austria, but in the European Union. The European Parliament decides on legislation that affects the everyday lives of all citizens in Europe. And every five years, EU citizens elect a new European Parliament. On 9 June 2024, we will decide in Austria on the direction that Europe will take in the future. But what influence does the European Union have on our working world? Why is it important for trade unions to network across borders? And what does the upcoming EU elections mean for us in Austria?
