Every year on 12 May , we celebrate International Nursing Day to recognise the incredible achievements of workers in the nursing, care and health professions.

You are the pillar of our society – day after day, around the clock. For this we say: Thank you!

But we also know that working conditions in nursing are often challenging. The trade union vida has therefore been working hard for years for better working conditions, fair pay and a sustainable reform of the care and health care system. This is where politics is called upon - and we are fighting for change!

Whether cleaners, kitchen staff, operating room staff, therapists, domestic workers, care and nursing staff, doctors, paramedics or administrative staff - you are all indispensable. Without you, the health system would not function. Your commitment deserves the highest recognition!
