Every year, the trade union vida negotiates the income and working conditions of and with thousands of employees from the transport and service sectors.
We are looking for a technical expert for our collective agreement and industry expert area.
They negotiate the collective agreements for cleaning and security workers and similar occupational groups. They actively work together with the volunteers and works councils in this industry. In addition, you will take part in negotiations on laws for these and other professional groups and develop the legal implementation of existing demands or develop new demands for the vida trade union. Embedded in a team of experts and collective bargaining negotiators from other industries, your work makes a REAL difference to thousands of people in this country.
They work in a structured way and are good at "translating" legal content for laypeople. You enjoy "creative legal" work. You can withstand conflicts of interest well and are interested in situation and power analyses. Do you want to work creatively in law and contribute unconventional ideas? Do you enjoy working with volunteers and are interested in developing political campaigns and member recruitment campaigns? You have comprehensive MS Office or comparable knowledge. Are you resilient and willing to show a high level of commitment? Then you've come to the right place!
You have a law degree or have acquired a similar level of knowledge of labour and social law through many years of practical experience.
You have experience in negotiation processes for laws, collective agreements or comparable activities. Are you connected to the trade union idea and (socio-)politically engaged or do you want to become one? They enjoy working with volunteers. Experience working with volunteers or volunteers is an advantage.
