The tasks:
Your tasks as a subject matter expert (knowledge of facility management is an advantage) in Vienna are exciting and varied.
Our requirements for you:
- Planning and implementation of measures to attract and retain members
- Independent support of companies and members
- Support for works councils and functionaries
- Advice on collective agreement, employment and social law with a focus on building management
- Legal advice and admission of applications for legal protection
- Organisation and support of works meetings and works council elections
- Planning and participation in events, campaigns and campaigns incl. project management
- Support in collective agreement negotiations and information transfer to companies
- Preparation and moderation of meetings, seminars and retreats (also online)
- Representation of trade union positions in companies
- Participation in committees as well as establishment and maintenance of networks (e.g. with the Chamber of Labour, trade unions, stakeholders)
- Analysis of current political and sector-specific developments at the state level
What you bring to the table:
- Professional competence, commitment and organizational strength
- Knowledge of employment, social and collective bargaining law
- Interest in the facility management industry (industry experience is an advantage)
- Good knowledge of trade union politics
- Willingness to work in the field and travel
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
- Resilience, reliability as well as teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in organizing events and projects
- Strong planning, coordination and negotiation skills
- Ability to deal with conflict and self-confidence
- Good knowledge of Office 365
- Driving licence class B
- Foreign language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to undergo continuous training
