The vida trade union is the transport and service trade union in the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB). It represents around 132,000 members from over 100 nations and more than 75 professional groups from apprenticeship to retirement. We are a lively association that identifies and enforces interests with and for the people.

Become part of our movement and apply as a network administrator in the trade union vida at the headquarters in Vienna – Catamaran.

Your tasks as a network administrator are:

  • Support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Solving technical problems, promptly and efficiently
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, software and peripherals
  • Document and track problems and solutions
  • First point of contact for customers for 1st and 2nd level support
  • Administration of servers and client systems (on- and off-premise)
  • Support for smartphone applications and their integration into existing systems
  • Installation and support of desktop applications
  • Support for client roll-outs
  • Troubleshooting using documentation and knowledge bases

What you bring to the table:

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Uni) ideally in the IT sector
  • Several years of experience in IT support
  • Practical know-how in network technology for Windows environments
  • MS-Windows operating system; Very good knowledge of MSCloud and MS-365 / Active Directory /ADFS and Azure AD
  •  Analytical thinking and high solution competence in user support
  • Reliable, service-oriented, organized way of working
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Team player mentality with committed nature and good communication skills
  • Communicative and appreciative customer interaction
  • High willingness to learn
  • Willingness to work in the field and overtime
  • Driving licence B

Minimum salary € 3,713.12; Recognition of specific previous professional experience, overtime is compensated. Your place of employment is the vida headquarters in 1020 Vienna, but your area of operation is throughout Austria.
