About the trade union vida:
The vida trade union is the transport and service trade union in the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB). It represents around 132,000 members from over 100 nations and more than 75 professional groups from apprenticeship to retirement. We are a lively association that identifies and enforces interests with and for the people.
Become part of our movement and apply as an expert in the representation of interests in the field of health and social services and company support in the trade union vida at the Provincial Secretariat of Upper Austria in Linz.
Your tasks as an expert in the field of health and social services in Upper Austria are:
- Supervision of the development of the collective agreement framework law
- Consultations and recording of applications for legal protection
- Planning, participation in internal and external events, campaigns and campaigns incl. project management
- Organisation of trade union action
- Presentation and lecture activities
- Accompaniment and implementation of conferences, meetings, retreats, etc.
- Networking and advocacy work
- Networking and cooperation with AK and trade unions
- Strategic work to organize the industry and attract new members
- Support for member recruitment
- Care and support of works councils and members
- Supervision and support for works council elections and works meetings
- Securing the flow of information between trade unions and companies
- Organisation of trade union action such as public works meetings or strikes.
What you bring to the table:
- High level of identification with the values of the Austrian Trade Union Confederation and the trade union vida
- Special expertise and/or special professional experience in the above-mentioned professional groups
- Knowledge of labour and social law
- Experience in the field of member acquisition, sales, organizing, participation and mobilization
- High implementation competence and organizational skills, ideally knowledge and experience in project management
- Strong communication personality with a positive, cosmopolitan attitude
- Assertiveness, initiative and creativity
- Resilience and reliability
- Multilingualism is an advantage
- Knowledge of labour and social law
- Willingness to work in the field and overtime
- Driving licence B

Minimum salary € 3,713.12; Recognition of specific previous professional experience, overtime is compensated.
