About the trade union vida:

The vida trade union is committed to the working and living conditions of apprentices and young workers from a wide range of industries. Among other things, for young people in the tourism, service, health and railway sectors.

We are looking for reinforcement for our team in our Federal Youth Office.

Your tasks are varied and dynamic:

• Planning, organizing and carrying out events, actions and meetings in cooperation with other employees.
• Co-creation of advertising campaigns, seminars and actionist, creative measures on site, such as action days, campaigns and industrial disputes
• Co-organisation of public events such as meetings, rallies, educational and cultural events, events and sporting events
• Contact person for prospective and existing youth councillors
• Trade union political positions.

What you bring to the table:

We are looking for you if you are communicative, enjoy working in a team and want to stand up for young people.

You are an organizational talent, have a good sense for young target groups and enjoy inspiring people for a common cause - especially for union membership. Your heart beats for justice, you are interested in socio-political issues and would like to actively participate in shaping the trade union in the future.

Ideally, you have an apprenticeship or professional experience in one of our industries and have already gained experience in trade union or other extracurricular youth work.

It is an advantage if you already have experience in planning and implementing events, enjoy supervising events and enjoy bringing creative concepts to life.

Your place of employment is the State Secretariat in Salzburg, 5020 Salzburg, but your area of operation is throughout Austria, so you should be willing to travel and sociable and have a class B driver's license.
