About the trade union vida:

The vida trade union is committed to the working and living conditions of apprentices and young workers from a wide range of industries. Among other things, for young people in the tourism, service, health and railway sectors.

We have been fighting for justice for over 75 years. As part of the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB), vida is jointly responsible for ensuring that employees in our country have a strong representation of their interests. You want to change the world? You've come to the right place!

Tasks:

• You will support and advise members and works councils on questions relating to the workplace
• You will develop and supervise trade union and socio-political campaigns at state and company level
• You negotiate and intervene with/with employers and authorities
• You are jointly responsible for the media and advertising work of vida Carinthia
• You are jointly responsible for the organization and support of events for the industries we represent

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training or studies
• Knowledge of (employment) law, project management, moderation, conflict management and/or foreign languages (Slovenian, B/H/S, Turkish, Italian, Hungarian) is an advantage
• Experience in sales or community management is an advantage
• Austria and Europe have been in permanent crisis mode for years. Commitment, resilience and flexibility are therefore an absolute advantage if we want to leave the world in a better state than we found it

Minimum salary € 3,713.12; for full-time employees, 37.5 hours per week; Recognition of specific previous professional experience, overtime will be compensated, your place of employment is the State Secretariat in 9500 Villach.
